using phone on european cruise
Going on a cruise in the Mediterranean. Cruise line suggests we have a charged phone or tablet with us. I may never have to use my I Phone SE. . What's the best and least expensive way to have avail...

Generally sound advice. I would feel safe using my phone to receive incoming texts onboard but I have over 20 years experience with international roaming. Set unconditional forwarding to voicemail and turn off data roaming before boarding the ship. If you have a cruise WiFi package, put your phone in airplane mode, turn WiFi back on and enable WiFi Calling.
i keep forgetting names in here or i would have tagged you for your 411 lol. last cruise i was on was in the service...asked them for their wifi password and they told me to shut up and get back to work lol.
