Why is my WiFi logo missing from the menu bar on my computer?

  1.   My email address is an aol account
  2.   I use Firefox as my browser
  3.   The menu bar no longer shows up on my computer, so the T Mobile lcon is no longer      there   What happened?
  4.   I have lots of trouble with television transmission and constantly need to jiggle the connection.  There were not any problems before switching to T Mobile

    Hey Delores,

I appreciate what you have already provided and I can make a few assumptions from that. In order to make sure you get a resolution for your situation, we would need a little more information. We can definitely try to work together here to get to the bottom of things, but a faster solution may be to get in contact with one of our amazing experts over the phone (1-800-937-8997), through the website or app (after you sign in and can see your account there is a contact us option), or through Facebook or Twitter (scroll down to the very bottom of this page, select the Facebook option, and then send a message there).

When you say menu bar on your computer, do you mean the task bar that has your start menu and shows the time? If that bar is not showing at all, you will want to go to your computer settings, search for taskbar settings, and make sure the taskbar is not hidden. If the wifi icon is not showing in that bar next to the time, you may want to double check that wifi is turned on in settings and make sure that your computer software including the wifi drivers are up to date to ensure that your computer is looking out for a wifi network.  I am not totally sure how to help with the television transmission because I am not sure what connections you are having to jiggle. We offer a few internet options that people can use to get data in their home: Home internet, mobile hotspots, and the smartphone mobile hotspot from your phone. Here on the community, we don't have access to your account to see what you currently have on your account, which is why reaching out through our other avenues may be more beneficial for you.

If you would like to provide some more information here, I am more than willing to provide more advice and assistance :) Screenshots can be extremely helpful here on the community, but try to avoid any personal identifiable information since the whole world can see these conversations.
