Lost capability to text: Contacts show sip:[phone number]@msg.pc.tmobile.com;user=phone

I am having this same problem with only one of my contacts. It's my daughter's number, and we are on the same T-Mobile plan. I am using a Samsung S21 5G, and she is using a T-Mobile Revvl V+ 5G. I am running Android 13. So far, I have tried in no particular order:
1-deleting her contact, and texting just the phone number
2-adding the contact back
3-having her text me then using that thread (works for the first few texts; then goes back to the sip:[phonenumber]...)
4-clearing cache, clearing data, clear defaults
5-unlinking number and re-linking (neither way works)
Any other ideas? It seems like a lot of people are having this issue for there to be no fix.…
