micro sd card for Galaxy S9

T-Mobile support advises the S9 can accept up to a 400GB micro-SD card.  That seems a peculiar number as they come in 128, 256 or 512GB but I've never seen a 400GB card.  Samsung website says 512, but it may vary by country and carrier.  Does anyone know if a US model SM-G960U can really handle a 512GB card?

    Personally, everything I tried over 256GB never worked for me.  There are a couple of companies that do make some unusual size MicroSD cards though.  XDA might be the best place to look for more information on this though.
