MMS TEXT pic over 1mb
So, former Verizon customer, just switched over to T-Mobile. With native Samsung note 20 text app, I can't send a pic over 1mb. I've never had this issue before, so when I see T-Mobile give the excuse that all mms limit the size to 1mb, I call bs. I convert to the google text app, and the pic goes through fine.
what is up T-Mobile? I think you have an issue you’re not whiling to fix, imo.

The MMS file size limit for T-Mobile is less than 1,000KB. If you set your messaging app to that limit or slightly lower, it will compress the image down to ensure it sends.

Ok, I just looked deeper, the only limitation I can implement is accept multimedia less than 9mb and less otherwise compress. There is no way to enter a custom amount of 1mb or less.
Google messaging works fine. Go figure.

Unfortunately I do not have the capability to limit the size in the galaxy text app. Or at least I can't find that settin. I'll dig a little more on this concept. ¡Gracias!

Our overlords and masters of corporate power do this because, when I get angry at them for instituting cap limits, I have no one to punch in the face, other than some poor guy who is trying to make a living out of minimum wage and has nothing to do with that decision. So much for corporate personhood in the United States! Corporations claim to have the rights of actual people and never the problems of actual people--like death, for instance. I certainly wish these corporations would die of old age, but they never do. T-Mobile may be a German company, but, if the United States is not going to protect the American people from corporate aristocracy, authoritarianism, or fascism, even a German company can just walk in and manipulate actual people.
