One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy S22 Series, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy Tab S8 Series in May 2024
Good news for Samsung fans of the Galaxy S22, Z Flip 4, Fold 4 and Tab S8! Samsung has officially announced that these 2022 flagship devices will be getting the One UI 6.1 update along with Galaxy AI features in early May.
Here's a breakdown of the update:
- One UI 6.1: This is the latest version of Samsung's user interface, which may include new features and improvements.
- Galaxy AI features: These were initially introduced with the Galaxy S24 series and expand on AI capabilities on Samsung devices. While specific features haven't been announced, they could include things like AI-powered photo editing, Bixby enhancements or on-device intelligence.
Overall, this update should bring some welcome improvements to these popular Samsung devices.
In early May 2024, the brand will start rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for more devices. Check out the list:

Verizon and ATT updates hit on 5/10/2024 and as usual T-mobile is no where to be seen

Hopefully they will fix Quick Share App that is automatically turned on and is a major pain when trying to send anything when texting images via the Messages App.
Be nice if you could turn that off with just one button swipe vs go here then here then here select this then select that and give this permission and select that blah blah blah blah…

T mobile samsung, are you listening you don't have my permission to send me updates for ai that I don't want time to call my attorney!!!

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone with a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra gets the One UI 6.1 update to report here. I just want to know more or less when I should expect it. I have a peculiar situation with my phone so I need to check.

I finally got it on 6/25/2024. My long concern that my phone was stuck with upgrades has been diminished. My phone does get updates 😁

I have yet to get any updates since I bought my phone 2 years ago🤣
How about the OneUI 6.1.1 update? It has been available since Sep 7th. When will TMOBILE push the update.
