Pixel Visual Voicemail Not Activating

I have the Pixel 1. Soon after the new update texts for t-mobile visual voicemail my google native voicemail & athe t-mobile visual voicemail do not work. On the google visual voicemail it is...

    I suggest not reinstalling the T-Mobile app. if you continue to have issues with the native dialer app voicemail tab or you just want to use the T-Mobile app and it still doesn't work you'll need to contact customer support to make sure there's not an issue with voicemail on your line.

    Having used an unlocked Moto X4 as well as a global OnePlus 6t I have not had a problem using the native voice mail.

You are stuck with TMobile Voicemail or a 3rd party app voicemail from Google play..

 

 

Actually, in some cases it does. My last phone a Unlocked Pixel 3a, it worked fine, but I just bought a Unlocked Pixel 6a and and could never get it to work. I spent endless hours talking to T-Mobile support and the problem could never be resolved. 

In the end... the only way I could get it to work on my Pixel 6a, was to change Carriers.
