Call Tmobile customer support directly and ask them which one you should use. Tmobile bills and recognizes devices by the SIM and not the device. While the phone may be functioning fine, there could be issues/confusion down the road if Tmobile is expecting you to activate your new SIM. You're probably fine, but best to confirm now rather than wait for account issues to start happening.
