REVVL 6x 5G remove Google search bar
How do you remove the Google search bar from the home screen of a REVVL 6x 5G?
You can't. Google changed that option a couple of OS updates ago as far back as the release of the Pixel 6.

Here's how to get some relief from the Google address bar. Whenever you have to many icons on your home screen or just want to organize it, you can long-press the icon and drag it to the right onto another screen, possibly even an additional screen further. It does not get rid of it entirely (the address bar), but your home screen should have the real estate you covet. Worked for me on my REVVL TAB 5g. 😁

También acepto @Eliaszara “ I haven't found another way but you can disable the Google aplic. that the widget is part of works and I've seen online that removing the bar being disabled by Google is only on some phones “
You can try this too.

Follow these steps to fix the issue:
-
Long-press the Google Search Bar: Start by touching and holding the search bar on your home screen. You'll usually see a menu or options appear.
-
Look for 'Remove' or 'Disable' Option: Once the menu appears, you might see an option like 'Remove' or 'Disable'. Drag the search bar to this option to remove it from the home screen.
-
Disable Google App (Optional): If you don't see the remove option, it's because the search bar is integrated into your phone's default launcher. In this case, you can go into the settings and disable the Google app. However, note that disabling the Google app will affect other services dependent on Google.
- Visita Configuración > Apps > Google.
- Presiona Desactivar.
-
Use a Third-party Launcher: If your phone's default launcher doesn't allow removal of the search bar, switching to a third-party launcher like Nova Launcher or Microsoft Launcher can give you the flexibility to fully customize your home screen. Once installed, you can easily remove or reposition the Google search bar.

Thanks, but been there and done that. Being proprietary Google wasn't helpful either to explain how to remove the app visibility.
