2021 iPad Pro Cellular $200 promotion
As reference: https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-ipad/ipad-pro “Buy an iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular from Apple. Get $200 back from T-Mobile/Sprint. **”
More detail:
Tell me about the deal.
For a limited time, buy an iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular directly from Apple and get a $200 virtual prepaid MasterCard® after you activate your new iPad on an eligible T-Mobile or Sprint data plan.
¿Cómo puedo obtener esta promoción?
Buy an iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular directly from Apple (pay in full or pay monthly with Apple Card Monthly Installments). Within 90 days of placing your order, activate an eligible 10GB (or larger) data plan with T-Mobile/Sprint and complete the promotional application at promotions.t-mobile.com.
I bought the Wi-Fi + Cellular directly from Apple and met ALL the terms, but was unable to activate with a cellular plan, so I went to my local T-Mobile store. After paying $40 ($10 SIM fee, $30 "assisted support" fee), the iPad has been activated on a 10GB plan and shows up in my postpaid account.
HOWEVER, there is no way to enter the promo code at the T-Mobile Promotions page!! 😖 T-Mobile’s “team of experts: is clueless about the promotion, as was the local store.
So, can someone from T-Mobile here help? Or, do I just regard this as another unreal T-Mobile promotion? (In which case, I will likely dispute the so-called "assisted support" charge as services not rendered.)
ACTUALIZACIÓN: this whole experience turned into a massive fiasco.
Despite listing the 10GB plan cost at “Get 10GB for $30” on https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/affordable-data-plans, I was actually charged $47.17 on my T-Mobile bill -- with AutoPay enabled!
T-Mobile Customer Service is still clueless about the promotion described at https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-ipad/ipad-pro and attempts to use the promotion at https://promotions.t-mobile.com/ still result in a "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again." message. No point in doing "Vuelve a intentar” since the promotion is unavailable.
I called and cancelled the tablet plan -- 50 minutes of my life I can never recover.
My 2¢ about this debacle: It seems that T-Mobile has been infected by the "customer no-service" culture that typified Sprint. This trend doesn't bode well for T-Mobile as a competitive disrupter in cellular or home internet service (another slow-rolling debacle of hyped marketing).

I have spent the last 2 hours trying to redeem my 200$ credit. T-Mobile was completely helpless, i have been transferred to more than 10 agents and all were not helpful. This is completely unacceptable, an offer is being advertised online and it is NOT honored. That's such a poor customer service as no one seems to care about resolving this issue.
Did you get this fixed? Did you get a postpaid account? They knew NOTHING at the T-Mobile store so I signed up for a prepaid account that's not eligible …….. what if I pay post paid and still nothing?? :(

I'm dealing with this issue now. I purchased a new iPad Pro from the Apple store, activated a 10 gb data line and submitted a rebate request. I was returned as "No/ineligible device purchased". I sent an e-mail to rcsolutions@t-mobilesupport.com requesting help.

I have received nothing, and tmobile keeps charging me. Wish I'd bought the wifi-only version and stayed away from T-Mobile.
Like everyone else on this thread, I can confirm that T-Mobile employees have no idea how this promotion works or even that it exists.

My claim was denied as well for ineligible device.
It turns out that I submitted the phone number of my primary line instead of the new data plan number. Seems like something they could've easily identified on their end to adjust or have a better UI to let me know ahead of time.
The OTHER issue is that I signed up for an unlimited plan. Most people would think unlimited is MORE than 10GB minimum requirement. There's not a clear place anywhere indicating that unlimited doesn't qualify for the plan. Now I have to wait on the call to change the plan with CS, then call the rebate place after to have it reprocessed.

this message board and the phone number provided is gold, thank you so much.
My picture of my receipt cut off the date, so they threw out my claim, no notification. Call the number (no wait time, and spoke to a human being) and they straightened everything out

Customer service is generally clueless on how this $200 rebate on iPad works. From the store employees who set up me up with the wrong plan in the very beginning, despite giving them all the details of the promo so they can set up the line with the appropriate plan for the promo, to the experts on the 611. After multiple calls where everyone is clueless and I'm just getting the run around I gave up. Very frustrating experience among other issues (billing, discounts, etc). Been with my last carrier ~15 yrs; I might not last a year with T-Mobile. I will not recommend.
