Re: Devices using wifi
I got one of those bird cameras as a Christmas gift. It also needed an app to work. HOWEVER, its a Chinese App and rated 2 stars no way im putting that on my phone or tablet. Work group connected, WOW, yeah that would worry me. Are you physically close to nearby neighbors? Granted the range isnt far. Tried resetting, renaming the device and setting new password?88Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Devices using wifi

I have unplugged the two devices that I know of but there are still three unknowns connected. BTW, turning off the wifi on wife's phone made no change to the number of devices connected. Is there some way to identify these devices? Thanks Yes, but its a lot of work IMHO. For any device in your home that can be connected you need to find its ID. Once you have the IDs you can check. My mysterious devices turned out to be a retired printer and the TV. Some devices allow you to change the ID to ... HPPrinter1, etc.29Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Devices using wifi
Im sorry in advance if this is too basic, but i also had two mysterious devices connected. It took awhile, mine turned out to be a retired printer still connected and my 'Smart' TV connected along side my ROKU device. I had a guest staying over who was playing around 😠. My clothes dryer keeps asking to connect, like i need that. Cell Spot? New 'Smart' devices?49Visto0likes1ComentarioRe: Amazon TV Promotion
First, to save you hours on hold and multiple calls to get the onshore help, log in and look for "promotions", and/or offer status. If it says accepted or qualified thats good. If not you are SOL. Now, call with the information from the promotions page, ID, promo code, etc. They CAN give you your code and the link for the TV, but it will take some work. There is a promotions group, get them to connect you if you are qualified. If theyonly give you the code, its the Amazon 4K 50 inch Fire TV USB. Best of luck.110Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: 3 days... 2mbps
So, the Spectrum Tech/Salesperson keeps coming by, wants me to come back. Great offer, $30.00 , but its '+' '+' '+', and ... it's touted as 500mbps! Well, when i signed up the first time with Spectrum,it wassupposed to be 200mbps, never saw it, never saw even 100mbps. So i ask him, if i switch to Spectrum, and i dont get 500mbps, what are you going to do for me? Yeah, looking at the ground, shuffling feet… I guess T-Mobile is doing me a favor by not letting me watch TV? No, not really. Oh, and sorry to hear about your 1.6.10Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: 3 days... 2mbps

T-Mobile wants their money on time, they're good at getting that right. When are they going to deliver home internet? All i want is to come home, turn on the TV and watch the news, is that too much toask for? I guess it is. Spectrum keeps coming by, trying to get me back. I guess if i really want home internet, ill have to go back. Oh, yeah, never got my free TV either.11Visto0likes0Comentarios3 days... 2mbps

bmorgan99 wrote: I've been trying to use the G4AR gateway with my external antennas but see little improvement when connected.I have been using another provider's cellular modem with a T-Mobile sim (so same tower and provider) for 3 years with no reception issues. I called tech support and was told the antenna ports are for wi-fi reception in my house, not cellular. Can anyone confirm or refute support's statement? Yes, it is not for cellular. Frankly its not for anything at all except lightening your wallet of $100.00. I have been told by two techs, (after buying an antenna) that its only function is to "aid placement of the gateway ". It will not boost your signal. People! Save your money.4Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Amazon Fire Television

The Rep was going to send an email and a text with the information. Nothing, again. Suprise! There must be at least 150 - 50inch TVs on Amazon. Do you have the model number? Does anyone have the model #?4Visto0likes0Comentarios
