where is my email

Since October 17, I can no longer view my email on my Apple SE.

both cox and gmail
Never had a problem before October 17
Are you sure you're signed into them since after some updates you may need to sign in.
or perhaps they need updated?
As of 10/21 I no longer can receive my email from google. It says it is synching but goes right back to 10/21. Any suggestions. I am away from home a good bit with my ill sister and I really need this.
