Everyone should open up a complaint with the FCC. It will take 5 minutes or less.
Do you have the link to FCC complaint option?
The January 2017 T-Mobile announcement from John Legere can be found here in full: https://www.t-mobile.com/news/press/un-carrier-next It’s also on the Wayback machine in the event they go ahead and delete it, and I’ve printed out and downloaded a copy as well.
Despite T-Mobile personnel trying to tell me it's unclear, or that they're only obligation is to pay my final bill if I decide to leave because of a price increase, they can't change this iron-clad "Un-contract" after the fact. There's nothing in that agreement that's unclear, nor anything about paying my final bill.
Because I got nowhere on their PM chat on Facebook, or on a phone call with one of their managers, I've gone ahead and filed an inquiry with the FCC, as well as the Antitrust Division of the DOJ. Maybe something will come of it, and maybe not, but it's worth a try, as T-Mobile clearly is in breach of contract. They waited until the dust settled from their merger with T-Mobile, which took a 4th carrier off the board, which confirms the fears of those who claimed the merger was anti-competitive. It wouldn't surprise me to see a class action lawsuit brought over this as well, and I wouldn't be opposed to being a party to that.
