Adjusting the gateway channels

I would add a dedicated 5 GHz network (SSID) to the gateway.  You can use T Life or T-Mobile Internet app.

then download 3rd party app HINT Control.  It has a setting to set the channel for 5 GHz.  Connect your devices to your 5 GHz SSID.
