no more credit card auto pay.. What a bad decision
What in the world is T Mobile doing. Who ever thought this was a good idea should be fired. I have been with T Mobile for over 25 years and have multiple lines , phones, tablets , watches including the internet service. This decision makes me so angry that I have invested some time in looking a Verizon. And Guess what … Time for a change .
If you choose to stay with T mobile I suggest you stop auto pay, and have them go through the expense of sending you your bill in the mail, then wait for the friendly notice, by mail, that it is due, then pay it with a credit card.
Note that Autopay is a significant benefit to companies… like maybe $30 per month worth :-) . It is definitely not intended to be a benefit to you .
I hope the CFO who made this decision thinks hard about the loss of customers for a puny 2% fee to the credit card companies. For me the loss to t mobile will be in the thousands per year….so short sighted !!

Not exactly how class actions work…https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/what-is-a-class-action.html
You don't join, but can opt out. Also review T-Mobiles terms and conditions.

I switched mine. They'll be mailing me a paper bill (money for paper, envelope, stamp, toner, wear and tear on their printing machines, etc)
Also, I will be watching for a class action lawsuit. If I see it, I'll join. What they've done is illegal.

I just found out that T-Mobile changed its auto pay discount and removed the discount for payments with credit cards. Terrible!! I have been with T-Mobile for over 10 years and it is going down the tubes. I called to find out what was going on with my autopay because when I log on it has a green check mark. Come to find out they just removed the discount and the customer service manager Ricky BAN298 wouldn't do anything to help me and he said it was the policy. Well T-Mobile just changed the policy. I guess they just want to run off all of their loyal customers.
I could understand if they made the policy apply to new customers because you would know what you are getting into, but for long time loyal customers… this is ridiculous. I guess I'm looking to take my business elsewhere.
