ps5&xbox series one x
Hey everyone. Gamer here. So recently on the 5g model of the home internet I have strict ip address and I've tried changing things around and hooked straight to the router and I still get the same thing. Haven't been able to play with friends or anything. So I'm not sure what else to check or to look for. Since this model doesn't offer upnp or dmz not sure what else to do.
I've had the same problem with my PS5. Getting a NAT Type 3 connection. If I can't find a fix soon I'll have to switch back to Xfinity or AT&T
Cat 5 into the gateway with a wired line. See what happens. Once you find success for a good few hours this way, then disconnect and attempt to ad wireless connection from Xbox to gateway, choose 2.4gz unless there is only a couple feet from the gateway to xb.You may also attempt to connect to your gateway with wrong wifi password, then restart and try correct password. Try and try again.
