QUESTION EVERYTHING WHEN STARTING SERVICE
I started service with Tmobile a few months ago after switching from Verizon. I had working phones although a few years older. The rep offered FREE phones for making the switch - based on continued service as each phone would get a monthly credit -- so I agreed to get new phones. The rep LIED. I am paying $4.17 for each phone as the credit does not cover the complete cost of the phone. This was NEVER mentioned during my conversation. Yes it is just a few dollars; however, he lied. I won't even go into the fiasco with the watches that he conned me into signing up for. Learn from my mistake: Ask question after question, get the rep's name, record the phone conversation and be sure that you have an exact dollar amount of every charge. These sales reps only want to add on stuff. Tmobile is not satisfied with just getting a customer. They would rather suck you in for two years. They don't appreciate the benefits of longevity.

TBH, It's not juat TMobile. Often taxesare not included, sometimes shipping, and more recently "activation"

That's with any cellular provider. You always need to look at the terms of the deal you agree to when signing up but also Tmobile's terms and conditions you agree to.
