Same problem for me today with the California Franchise Tax Board. Hadn't had a problem with like this in so many year I forgot about it. By the time the automated voice asked me to put my Social Security # in I was caught in limbo. Couldn't "enter" my number and it hung up on me for not putting it in. Locked out. Then I remembered how often I used to have this problem. Went back in and used deliberate long touches on the keyboard and it worked. I am thinking that I called T-moble way too many years ago and they may have switched a setting for me on T-mobile's side. The setting changed a predetermined time for a tone to a tone that lasted as long as the key was pressed on my phone. Maybe happened.
