Service is going in and out

For the last couple of days my service has been coming in and out. One second I have full bars and then suddenly it switches to SOS only or No Service. My sister, who is under the same plan has been having the same issue. We both have older iPhones, but I'm not sure if that would cause a service issue. The location shouldn't be the issue, as I usually have reliable service where I live. I'm about ready to just replace my phone, but I want to make sure that will solve this issue.

    Hola, @Cookm97

I understand how frustrating intermittent service can be. Before considering replacing your phones, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Restart Your iPhone: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve network connectivity issues.
Check for Carrier Settings Update: Go to Settings > General > About to see if there’s an update available.
Toggle Airplane Mode: Turning Airplane Mode on and off can sometimes re-establish network connections.
Reset Network Settings: This will erase all current saved settings, including Wi-Fi passwords, preferred networks, and VPN settings.
Re-seat the SIM Card: Power off your phone, remove the SIM card, then re-insert it and power the phone back on.
Contact Your Carrier: There might be a temporary service outage, or there could be an issue with your account or SIM card.
Update iOS: Ensure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS.

I hope this step is resolve your query.
