tmobile 5g internet
Past Month or so has been crap for me. Fine when it works, but it keeps dropping connection for me. Always says "excellent " as for signal strength, but I have to keep resetting the network. Phone 5g works great though. Wish I could trade that for internet. Think it's time to switch back to cable

My wife and I both are having network issues. I problems started in March 2023 in the Cedar Rd Lee Rd area of Cleveland Heights OH. Most of the time (both cellphones) we cannot make calls even 911 and we drop so many calls. We swapped both cellphones and SIM cards. The issues did not change. After months of service issues T-Mobile acknowledged issues with the tower near my home. To date the issues have NOT been fixed and T-Mobile has not given me a due date for repairs. Soon I must go back to Verizon. I need to make calls from my home especially emergency calls.

Guess i am not the only one. have been no internet for more than 24 hours. time to switch back to cable...

Been experiencing the same thing for past week or so, constant connection drops or very slow service. Sometimes for extended periods. I understand that the 5g internet is on same as cellular and is considered secondary when they have service issues. Cellular gets priority at the expense of the internet.

If you can use the T-Mobile Home Internet App, select the ‘More’ and ‘Advanced Cellular Metrics’ (note recommend masking out the CGI value on LTE as that’s your local tower ID).
post the other metrics from LTE and 5G. It may shed some light.

If T-Mobile cannot give you a date to fix … that typically means +3 months. (i.e. its not on their planned maintenance). Unless you want to wait +3 months …
If you’ve swapped SIM + cellphones, you should truly escalate to management … you shouldn’t be on the hook for new phones with T-Mobile’s outages.
