What do I need to know about taking a cruise to mexico?
Taking a cruise to Mexico on Carnival… any way to save on charges and still use my cell phone thru T Mobile instead of the cruise ship? Any tips or suggestions???
Please, please, please! Do not assume that you can just use your phone on a cruise ship like you're at home. Unless you just happen to be made of money, you will greatly regret the mistake. Calls on a cruise ship normally cost $6/min and sending a text is 50c. The best practice is to put your phone in airplane mode antes you board the ship and don't take it out of airplane mode until you are off the ship. You can buy a WiFi package if you like and use WiFi calling. That's OK. Using your phone in Mexico is also OK.
