devices not eligible

To be eligible.for a SIM unlock for a device SIM locked to T-Mobile. The original purchaser must be a T-Mobile USA customer and their account and device must meet all of the SIM Unlock Policy requirements.

You could always take it to your local cellphone repair shop to see if they have a service you could purchase to have them SIM unlock it for.you.

I already took it to the repairs for service but they were unable to open it. Probably because this phone still have some balance with T-mobile. What can I do to b e eligible to unlock with t-mobile?
If the device still has a balance and you are not the original purchaser. Return it to Amazon.
This is all based on assumption, how can you help me find out if it does have balance for sure.
