Kids SyncUp Watch Contact Invitation Issues
I just got the new SyncUp Kids watch for my son, and I was adding in the different contacts for him to be able to have. I clicked on the little pink + button and it allows me to add in the person. i click in the Name box that is there, and it pulls up a little box at the bottom of the screen for me to choose a contact, so I go through my contact manager in my phone, choose the person, and it fills in their information for me in the boxes there. Then I choose the contact type, which in this case I did Friend, and then clicked the pink Next button to the next screen, where I put the name that my child calls this person (in this case it was their grandma), and then I clicked the pink button at the bottom that says Save and Invite. When I click that button, it takes me to my text messages to that person, and auto-fills in an invitation message. In that message it says that I added that person as a Friend contact, and that I've also sent my child's contact info to them so they can call and text them right from their phone. However, when I checked with his Grandma, she didn't have the information in her phone. He didn't go into her contacts. The message also didn't have the information included in it, nor was there a link for her to click on in order to get the information into her phone. We put it in manually in her phone. So, my question is, is this a bug, or is it meant to work this way? Why would the invitation message say that "I've sent [my child's] contact info so you can call and text them right from y our phone", if it indeed doesn't work like this. And if it does work like this, then I wanted you folks to know so that your I.T department can get right on it to see if they can fix it. Anyhow, could someone tell me how it's "supposed" to work so I can figure this out and get it all set up and ready to go for my son please? I appreciate your response and thank you in advance!

I'm having the same issue. Also, if the message goes through to an invite, it's wants them to download the app. Why????

Yes, but the +1 is hard wired into the app as the country code and also in the invitation. You can't remove it in either instance. It give you the option for US or Mexico in the drop down, see pic.
I can't remember the exact way I did this. I recalled all the invites and went to the other tab. Don't invite from from the first tab. Go over to the second tab and invite from there. Once it gives you the contact type, then you're doing it right. See my photo.

I was able to get it to work. I think it had something to do with how I typed in their phone number. Don't include a +1 or any () for area codes. Delete all exiting invites and resend them.
when it gets to the page where it asks if you want to add them as a guardian or a friend then you're doing it right.
downloading the app is optional if they want to see location etc, but to be your child's contact that's not necessary they just need to accept

I sat on a call with customer support for an hour and they couldn't figure out why the invite links aren't working. T-Mobile customer support said they would keep working on it and call me back and they never called me. Has anyone figured out how to invite contacts? It keeps coming back, "your invite is unavailable." Extremely frustrating.

Did you see my response above?

Hello. your comments are always very helpfull. I have a question, please, because i can setting up the text messages. Do i need to do something in the watch to complete the setting? or everthing it´s doing from the app?

This works as the original Admin however if you assign someone as guardian and they try to add a contact it gets to the Assign contact to child but the child/watch option never comes up so you can't push the grayed out button "save and invite". It seems as only the original admin who paired the watch has the ability to add contacts. If someone has a workaround please post. Gracias
