Releasing a Line or Transfer of a Line
If the Account Holder releases my line so I can transfer it to my own account does my line or devices finace charges remain with my line?
No. The device finance charges stay with the original account. I think there is a way to get this transfered but it is not automatically done. Reach out to Customer Care at 611 or send a DM to T-Mobile on Facebook or Twitter to find out all of what is required to move the finance and line over to their own accoumt and to make sure any promotions you have don't fall off as a result.
