Can sign in on iPHone Xr, but not PC

I am able to connect to my gateway via my iPhone Xr but when I try to log in to the network on my PC laptop, I get a "Can't log into network" error message. Should I be using the password on the back of the device, or the once I set up in the T-Mobile app?
