Gateway Configuration via Browser
How do I configure my T-Mobile Sagemcom FAST 5688W 5G Gateway from my Desktop PC Browser?
When I try to access the Gateway configuration interface by typing 192.168.12.1 in the
browser address bar I get the Home Screen only, and no way to move on to the
configuration settings screens or the Advanced cellular metrics data screen.
I very much prefer the browser access over the phone app.
Is this possible?

The T-Mobile internet app does not work on my Android phone! So it appears T-Mobile has no solution for PC users to access internal settings and info on their T-Mobile 5G gateway? New user, so not impressed with this.

@angell33 if you are trying to et metrics and which band you are on, you need to use the T-Mobile internet app (the one you used to setup your gateway. As far as saving power and reducing heat, I am not confident there will be a measurable difference by turning off both channels. I suppose you could try. Nader Nader has a lot of credibility.
Let us know what you decide and the results.

Thanks copz1998 for your reply. This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NJ7TJ_1VZk
shows how to turn off both WI-FI channels on the T-Mobile Sagemcom FAST 5688W 5G Gateway
to save power and reduce heat. Maybe I should try that? - copz1998Connection Curator
@angell33 You need to use the T-Mobile internet app, which you can download from the Apple App Store or Google Play store. You can't configure the gateway by anything else but the app.
