device name change
Is there anyway to change the name of the internet device (modem 5G) from what it is to another name that you would like to call it? I would like to change it from TMobile-***** to something else…..
Try this: in the cellphone app, on the bottom toolbar, go to NETWOR K then it says Manage your Wifi Networks. (Apparently you can have more than one. like, one for kids and one for grownups.)
Your existing network should be there. Click its name and you get to a panel where you can change your SSID, that's the name that people connect to. And your wifi password, that you give to ppl to connect with. I hope you changed it when you first got it! There's other settings if you're curious.
Make sure to click Save at the bottom.
