easy answer, read my other post and what the Home internet is made for. Its made for people in rural areas that do not have access to other internet and likely have a much lower signal strength. That being like I said in my other post it is in T-mobiles best interest to provide both the home internet and the boosted signal strength from the cellspot within a household. I know there is "wifi calling" but as someone in this field for a long time I can also tell you and even more so confirmed the last couple of days that it is not near as reliable as having a cellspot recreating the signal for our cellphones as well as the internet being provided by the home internet gateway
