t-mobile 5g fails to connect hp envy 5530 printer
Cannot connect T-mobile 5g gateway to hp envy 5530. Diagnostic/settings/No Filtering/FAIL. Solution: Add printer MAC address to list of permitted devices for router. How do I do that???

What is often not mentioned, that in addition to separating or creating the 2.4GHz band, usually the encryption or transmission protocol may also need to be changed.
The following threads may help, but usually changing the encryption from "WPA2/WPA3" to "WPA/WPA2" may work. Sometimes the transmission mode may also need to be changed from ax/ac to b/g/n, but that option appears not to be available on the newer gateways.

I know it should be connected to 2.4G network but from what I've read elsewhere, aren't both 5G and 2.4G available at the same time? How do I tell it to connect to 2.4G?
