T-Mobile Home internet possibly fried
My wife was home when she smelt smoke downstairs but when she figured out where the smoke was coming from, she thought it was our router. I got home and started trying to figure out if it was the router I plugged the home Internet modem in and heard a noise that I have heard when the electronics are fried. I haven't taken it apart because I am going to turn it back in but I'm almost positive the home Internet fried due to overheating.
If anyone else has this problem let me know

for sure return it...you open it and you pretty much now get to buy it from TMO since any warranty would be void on the spot.
@Wowza, I agree with @fireguy_6364, if you tamper with it, you bought it. Just take it back to the T-MOBILE store and let them exchange it.
