TMobile Wifi is trash
My Wi-Fi is absolute garbage. I haven't had one night since I've gotten it without having to unplug and reboot. Constantly stopping or slowing down. Never a clear picture either when it comes to streaming. I can't get through a Zoom call to safe my life, which is pretty inconvenient for the sake of any meeting I might have. The sales person who initially put me onto my Wi-Fi plan also misinformed of my monthly payment even though I asked for confirmation on the numbers he gave me multiple times. Thanks Nilo, you as useless as my Wi-Fi connection.. Fortunately for T-Mobile I'm too busy to stop in and say this to him. I've been exploring my options outside of T-Mobile for new wifi. I'm posting this so someone doesn't make the same mistake as me. T-Mobile sucks.

You can't generalize cellular-based services. It is far too dependent on user location. I'm in a rural location and cell service is very spotty. I just ran Speedtest on my TMHI and got over 500 mpbs download. I then repeated the test using AT&T cellular service on my cell phone at got 20 mpbs. Does this mean AT&T service is "garbage"? Maybe at this location it isn't optimal,...but that conclusion certainly doesn't apply everywhere. This is why TM gives you a 2-week trial period….to sort out if it is going to work for you.

@Nievera94 I agree with @Rogracer2000 generalizations have no value and do not help problem solving.
I have had TM home internet for over a year and am very happy. I get download speeds between 100-300 Mbps and 20-80 Mbps upload depending on the time of day (that is how cellular internet works (cellular phone traffic takes priority over home internet traffic).
A few questions - when you signed up for T-Mobile Home Internet, did you use the map to confirm your location receives 5G signal? https://www.t-mobile.com/home-internet/eligibility?&cmpid=HEIS_PG_P_21HMEINT_p72266798461&gad=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw756lBhDMARIsAEI0AgltDKw2-1yCLP3lBdGxM8DTFEEP5HsRQW-Soty0X6feCm63pjDQo-gaAjNnEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Next, did you use the placement assistant to determine the best location in your home to place your gateway to ensure you get the best possible signal? https://www.t-mobile.com/support/home-internet/t-mobile-gateway o
While this process takes a little time, once you get it dialed it, you leave it and it should run efficiently.
Let us know how thing work out.

Gee, thanks for the info. This complaint is equally in regards to bogus costumer service as well as bad internet connection. I didn't even know about the 2 week trial, I wasn't informed by T-Mobile's employee of the year. You're doing great. I wish the rest of the team was as smart as the Wi-Fi patrol. If you wanna come over to the southside of Chicago and fix it for me be my guest. Anyway, it looks like I did just generalize the service and as far as I'm concerned it still means it's garbage.
Thanks Rog!
