sim card detection
I have a problem with my sim card, I haven't activated it yet, so I have no phone number, but I don really care about that. My problem is that my iphone does not detects the sim card, like if i had no sim card installed, is this normal cause it's not activated or is my sim card faulty?
Possibly. Try another SIM and hopefully it works. I have a bunch of SIM's I used for testing devices, usually for the lock state or for specific networks, most of which are not active. The device should always see them though when in it, but the network will say, emergency or SOS only.
It should still detect the SIM even if the SIM card is not active.

So my sim card is faulty, it had the sim card remover dented on the sim, like if it had a lot of weight over it while it arrived to my home.
