travel to canada over 90 days

I'll be traveling to Canada for over 90 days therefore using my cellular over 51% out of the US. I do not want my service disconnected due to the length of time I'll be in Canada. Is it possible to purchase  a Canadian cellular eSIM and add to my iPhone 13 for use while I'm there and then switch back to my us T-Mobile when I return?

Thank you so much for the reply. Yes I own the phone and I have no sim restrictions. I think the best way to go is to get an eSIM for the time I am away. Nuevamente, gracias.

If your iPhone is fully paid off.  You can purchase an eSIM to use while in Canada.  If your iPhone is not paid off.  You can ask Customer Care to see if they will make an exception and request the SIM unlock.

If you will have access to WiFi a lot of the time while in Canada.  You can use WiFi Calling to help cut down on the usage abroad.
