Using eSIM in Japan with Go5GPlus 55 plan on Iphone 15 Pro
I have a Go5GPlus 55 plan-that includes 5Gb of international data.
I use an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
If I install an eSim in Japan-do I loose access to the T-Mobile data?
Will I still receive calls to the phone on my T-mobile number?
Can I use both the T-mobile data and the eSim data in Japan?
I have never used the eSIM for foreign travel and relied on the T-Mobile data, which can be kind of slow and wll not be enough for this trip.
It will set the device up as if it was a dual-SIM device. You will have to select the SIM you want to use data because these devices, like most, use dual-standby, meaning only one can be active at a time for certain things. You should be able to receive calls and SMS/MMS normally on both numbers at the same time.
