SIM Card for Audi A8L
I have an Audi A8L and it came with a TMobile SIM card (a BIG one) for the Audi Connect feature. However, the SIM card is only allowing a 2G communication. I want upgrade this SIM card but no one can tell me where I need to go to get a new one. Audi said, TMobile...TMobile says they can't help.

I have no idea what your Audi requires, but T Mobile should be able to sell you a sim card that can be used in mobile tablets. Maybe you can get one of those and see if it works.

Once again, and the reason for my post, T-Mobile says they don't carry aSIM card that big any longer. They have no idea how to get one or where to get one. Audi directs me to T-Mobile. T-Mobile just shrugs🤷♂️ their shoulders…

Since it's an Audi it may be a Tmobile EU Sim if the car was built overseas.

Ok. I'm looking for an answer. If that's the case, Audi would know that. Yes, it was built in Germany 🇩🇪. Audi only refers me to T-Mobile since this is a secondary service provided by agreement between T-Mobile and Audi. Audi says it's T- Mobile issue and they can't help since it's not Audi's service.

So there are sim-card adapters that allow microcards to be used in the larger slots.

All of our physical sim cards are sold as "tri-sims". You can think of the sim card like an onion. There are layers of plastic rings around the chip that peel/snap off to make the sim card either a standard, micro, or nano sim. I took this screensnip from the video on our Tarjeta SIM e eSIM | Asistencia de T-Mobile page. You can see that the sim card has a pink, black, and white section indicating the different sizes that the card can be.
Standard size is the largest that we have used and the good news that it is part of any Sim card purchase. Hope this helps.
