Sim Card!!

yup..it mainly just tells the phone whos network it needs to be looking for..now a SD card on the other hand would be what is needed for storing stuff like pics etc..

SIM's are not media storage.  A SIM can not store pictures or other forms of media because it simply doesn't have the capacity to do so.  As Gramps said.  It can contain a very small amount of text data, like a GMail address and or some basic phone contact information (name and number) of contacts saved to the SIM.

There's really not much stored in a sim now days since everything is stored in either a Gmail account or the Apple cloud.

There might be some phone numbers on it but the sim can't be reactivated.
