Slow speeds using the t-mobile esim app designed for tourists
Hi, last night i signed up to t-mobile using their esim app. I am visting from the UK. I paid for the highest plan which didn't mention and speed restrictions apart from if you use more then 50gb you may be slowed down (or deprioritised). I did a speed check and was getting some goodish speeds at one point 70/80mbps on 5g. But today i am barely getting abocve 3mbps which has me thinking i'm being throttled. Things seems sluggish compared to last night. Does anyone have experence with the plans (50/60 dollars) or know why it's happening or if it's temporary. I checked the coverage and the 5g ultra i think i'm just outside so i'm just connected to the 5g (2 bars).
Must of been the location. I know at my house my speeds are slow and I get a block away and they're 300 down.
An iPhone 14 max pro (from the uk). The app also checks whether it's compatible with the network. Although I don't think the phone supports the mmwave thing. But as I said last night I received faster speeds.
What phone do you have and did you check to see if it was compatible with Tmobile’s bands.
