Sold a prepaid instead of honoring my insurance

It happens quite often. The claim needs to be made before the sim is inserted into a new phone since the insurance will carry over to the new phone negating the coverage on the broken phone.
As for the prepaid plan and service it states in Tmobile's terms and conditions that prepaid is non refundable. Unfortunately the rep didnt know this due to poor training.
BTW, I don't work for Tmobile.
