Cant able to link phone number

Hii everyone,

   I have created T-Mobile account at account.t-mobile.com using Gmail and password. After creating account T-Mobile prompt me to link phone number. I am stuck at that place. Should I have T-Mobile phone number or any others USA number to link. Please reply if anyone know.
