Can't believe Tmobile charged me for a full month of 5G service when I disconnected 5 days into the month.

The 5G home internet was very iffy in my house and had less speed than Spectrum. I kept the router as a backup for a few months and finally decided to disconnect as the speed was very slow and wasn't even good when I did need to use it.

I cannot believe that I called 5 days after the start of the month of service to disconnect and even though I unplugged the device and they have record that it was not used and then I sent it back to them they charge me for a full months of service. Horrible! I have been with Tmobile for phone for years and thought they would have a better business than charge you for a full month of service when I didn't even use it makes me want to take my business elsewhere. I paid for months of service and that is fine but I really shouldn't have to pay for time when they already have their device back.

Unfortunately per Tmobile's terms and conditions they don't prorate billing. I recently canceled my sync up tracker on the final day of my billing cycle to avoid a prorated charge.

  • They're pretty much criminals. I had added a mobile hotspot and cancelled after 6 days. Since it was over 2 billing periods I was charged for 2 months. Of course, when I cancelled the hotspot the service cancellation was immediate. Time to look elsewhere.
