Re: Fold 5 hearing aid compatibility (ASHA)
I don't think that hearing aid compatibility is not the same thing as the ability to stream to the device. Just like bluetooth connectivity does not mean the ability to stream to the phone. I have an Android phone (Android 10) that can bluetooth connect to my hearing aids, but can not steam to them. The bluetooth connectivity only means that the app for the hearing aids can connect to them and control the volume and settings. There is a list of ASHA compatible Android phones and some Samsung phones are on it, but the Fold 5 is not. I don't know if that is because it is not ASHA compatible or because the docs are too old to list the Fold 5. That is why I asked.43Visto0likes0ComentariosFold 5 hearing aid compatibility (ASHA)
Does anyone use the Samsung Fold 5 with hearing aids? I want to make sure that the Fold 5 is ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids) compatible so that it can stream calls to my hearing aids, but a search of the Samsung Fold 5 manual does not find any matches for ASHA and I can not find any email address for technical questions for Samsung. Has anyone paired their hearing aids using ASHA to the Fold 5?377Visto0likes5ComentariosAnyone having problems with their Samsung Fold 5?
I just wanted some information on problems anyone might be having with their Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 before I ordered one. I have seen reports on some of the Android internet forums about issues with the screens on the earlier Samsung Fold models, particularly the 3, and some connectivity issues with the 5G network. It is an expensive phone and I was hoping to get help from current users about their experiences before committing to spending the money. The dedicated Samsung Fold part of this forum has not been much help as it contains posts about much earlier versions of the phone.131Visto0likes1ComentarioHard to believe
I am thinking about getting either the Samsung Fold V or the Pixel Fold and wanted some information about the T-Mobile protection plans. I asked on a chat linewhat the deductible for a lost phone is and was told $500. I asked about the deductible for a damaged screen and was told $199. Both of those figures sound very high for what is already a high priced protection plan. The monthly cost of the plans from T-Mobile (I was told) is $25/month, so the deductibles seem really high. The plan from Samsung costs $15/month and the deductibles are supposed to be much lower, so I wanted to ask if the T-Mobile plan is reliable? That is, if I buy the phone and buy the plan and have a claim will it get handled quickly and easily? Or is it going to be a pain? I have previously had iPhones and bought the AppleCare plans, and the only claim I ever made (for a broken screen) was handled quickly and Apple sent me back a brand new phone. Can I expect that kind of response from the T-Mobile plans?Solved189Visto0likes3Comentarios
