Comcast email on T-Mobile home internet

As a long time Comcast customer, we recently decided to give T-Mobile Home Internet a try.  It has been a really good experience and we are happy with our switch, except that we cannot get our Comcast email clients to work with the T-Mobile Home internet now.  Estos son los detalles.

During the 2-week TM HINT trial, everything worked great.  We could access Comcast email from Laptop clients (Outlook 365), Samsung Android email clients, and a Gmail app set-up as a Comcast email client.  The day we cancelled Comcast, the clients stopped syncing.  I've checked and double checked the IMAP incoming and outgoing settings, disabled Two Step Authentication on Comcast and just about everything else I've found on the interwebs.  If I connect to any other network (even my T-Mobile phone hotspot), all of the Comcast email clients work fine.  And I can access my Comcast email from the website when connected to my TM HINT.  Anyone else run into this issue and found a resolution?  Thanks in advance.

After a long conversation with a T-moble customer Service Rep I didn't receive an answer to my Question.

Are rate went up $10.00 and was given notice however, we where on vacation and couldn’t respond until now.

We were promised that we would pay the senior discount of $60.00 with no increase.

A contract on T-mobile's side was not keep. It's not the increase but a promise by your company.

We have been a long time customer and have paid our bills on time of $60.00 a month. That should count for something.

Try rebooting your T-Mobile modem. It might have something to do with the T-mobile WAN address, and when you reboot, it gets a new address.  This seems to work when I have issues.

I have the same issue. I just hooked up my T-Mobile home internet and turned off my AT&T gateway and now the Outlook client on my laptop won't connect to my Comcast.net email addresses. The message I keep getting is that the password needs to be re-entered and saved. I have checked all the settings and port numbers numerous times, too.

Of course your Comcast e-mail is not going to work after canceling your service with Comcast.  Tue Comcast e-mail address was a part of your Comcast service.

I haven't had Comcast for almost 5 years but I still have my account as long as I use it. If I stop using it for a certain amount of time it will be canceled.

That's interesting.  It isn't that way with Cox.  That's the first In have heard of a provider doing that.

When I canceled to move to AZ that's what I was told so I  use it when I need to give an email address.

@WHA I have several accounts, including Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail/Microsoft, with no issues. Doing a quick Google search, it seems others have experienced your issues. Generally, double-check your settings to ensure you don't overlook something.

Let us know how it works.

Appreciate the help but neither of those were really applicable to my situation.  And I've gone over the settings several times and nothing worked.  I have a feeling it's just something with accessing Comcast email thru a client when connected to my T-Mobile home internet.  Worst case is I'll have to access it thru the website.
