Connected, No Internet
We've had TMobile Home Internet for several months, and it's been rock solid from day one.
Until the last 24 hours.
Every 10-30 minutes or so, our devices get 'Connected, No Internet', and the only way to fix it is to power cycle the gray trash can (as we call the modem).
Very confused, as it's location hasn't changed since initial setup, nor have any of its settings.
Any help would be appreciated.
I would do a factory reset. Do you know when you device was upgraded to the new version? Was it last 24 hours? This is the new Version:1.2103.00.0338, If its updated something could have caused an error. A total reset is the best way to clear that. If this first doesn't fix the problem, then you need a device replacement. Good luck to you.
Okay I'm currently having the same issue but my phone, kindle, and kindle work but my computer can't connect even though I have a secure connection.
Edit: now it seems to be working. I'll give it a little bit and see if it starts doing it again
The issue is your router from T-Mobile will not put out the same signal that I router from AT&T or Verizon or one of the cable companies. What T-Mobile has done is a modified using a telephone Sim and your equipment CS Sim and they know it's not a router so they won't connect, what you have to buy a router from Amazon or somewhere, you could find them in expensive and connect that in the back of your T-Mobile device and you will connect to the new Route you just plugged in. It'll be no problem at all. I found out this issue when I tried to have my garage door opener my connect to the Internet. It cannot do it. It took many days and many calls to find out the reason why because it doesn't see a router it see's a cell phone.
If the problem is intermittent, then it’s most likely a cell tower issue.
Some devices will not care that your T-Mobile Router is really a cell phone. Some devices have higher security and see its a cell phone and will not connect. If "intermittent" than it will connect some times than it will decide to not to. This will not ever happen. The T-Mobile Router has a sim card and gives off a different signal, some devices will connect and some will not. You won't have a device that connects some of the time and other times no. That is a signal issue. Plug this into the back and your router will work like a router should. If you don't like it, it is returnable.

This is inaccurate. The issue of getting a connection but not connecting to the Internet has nothing to do with it being 4/5G home Internet from a SIM card. It's also not the router. See my post above from probably a year ago.
This is something on T-Mobiles end. Could be a tower, could be the line itself. Without somebody actually from T-Mobile looking into it, it's impossible to tell.
