Its not Home Internet people. It's just another phone. The facts are out, its just another phone line. Basically it was a deceiving offered. Yes, we were lied to. A router they call it that we simply just plug it in and WALLA.
Is this what do when want to charge our phone.
This home internet is using the same signal that your cell phone is on. So imagine all the phone lines that use that tower in your area will now get all the traffic for internet. That we use for searching, streaming , downloading, and whatever else will be on this same signal.
Well of course people are going to complain my service is down , lousy signal , no signal etc.…
Well another big pay out for those attorneys to take on the next class action lawsuit.
And then we'll be offered on what is left over to be shared with the rest of tmobile customers.
What, a dollar or 1 year free of some premium channel.
For what they pay out on these lawsuits and with over 300 million customers. How about a million dollars for each customer.
However you see it or not..…
Deception or falsehood is an act or statement that misleads, hides the truth, or promotes a belief, concept, or idea that is not true. It is often done for personal gain or advantage. Deception can involve dissimulation, propaganda and sleight of hand as well as distraction, camouflage or concealment.

Use your cell phone and login to the gateway and check the cellular information. It could be a local tower issue or might be more extensive. If you cannot see the cellular signals for 4G LTE and 5G NR frequencies then it could be the tower equipment of backhaul is compromised. Calling T-Mobile support might be the best option if you cannot get internet via the gateway.

Well it's down everywhere. T-MOBILE let us down.

It is true the T-Mobile home internet is via a cellular signal. It is also true the cellular handsets and the stationary "gateways" share resources. For anyone to believe a cellular vendors using 4G LTE and 5G NR technology with no land line is doing something different it is curious. The service is NOT down everywhere and it does provide a very reasonable alternative in some locations. The delivery of cellular signals to all locations is not equal. If subscribers needs demand beyond what the local cellular solution is capable of delivering at least T-Mobile does not lock users into a contract with excessive fees and restrictive terms. Unsatisfied customers can always go to another vendor with minimal pain other than maybe getting locked into a contract and higher costs every month.
Here we had only three options for internet service. T-Mobile, HughesNet, or Starlink and that has NOT changed in the past +2 years. One vendor provides antiquated cable delivery to a very select and limited number of subscribers and their track record is horrible. The cellular service here is available and pretty reliable with more than sufficient bandwidth for user needs. Is it a perfect solution for every need? No, it does not provide "everything" but for the cost is is a very good solution. The other two vendor options came with MORE costs and were less desirable in multiple ways; contracts and fees, and yearly negotiation for keeping costs in line. The T-Mobile solution has lower latency than the satellite offering and works well here. I agree 100% the solution is NOT good in some locations. The reality is that it is a viable solution in some locations and is NOT always down. Everyone needs to evaluate their needs and wants and decide on the solution before they make assumptions. Research, evaluate, decide.
