Home Internet Wi-Fi disconnecting
I recently jumped on the wagon for the T-Mobile home Internet, it was great for the first three weeks getting about 250Mbps download and close to 25Mbps on upload and now it's super slow and keeps dropping some devices off the WiFi. I have to reset the modem to get the device to reconnect! it's been a steady frustration that now it's happening everyday. Is anyone else having the same issues?

I can see the 5G tower from my house, but after getting excellent download and upload speeds initially (Arcadyan gateway), I am now seeing <10Mbps for downloads and <.5Mbps for uploads.
I get the same results when doing a speed test on my phone using 5G.
T-Mobile: You broke it, please fix it!
Update: TM updated the towers near me a few months ago and I've had excellent service. I have to reboot the gateway once in a while but other than that, no issues!

I recently (last 2 weeks) switched from Xfinity to t-mobile in North Naperville/North Plainfield area. I received a black Arcadyan gateway. On speed check I am getting around 200+ mbps download and 25 mbps upload speed. The main issue is I lose Internet connection frequently almost on all connected devices laptops, TVs, Phones ….
Not sure how to resolve this problem. Frquent resetting does not resolve the problem. On this board I am not seeing any resolution either although there are many posts here on this same issue.

I've been having connections issues for the past 2 weeks, after multiple calls and troubleshooting efforts by Tmobile team I thought I may have seen the silver lining until this morning. I work from home and this is very irritating to have my connection dropping constantly every 3 to 5 minutes 😡
I've had Tmobile internet for the past year, and these issues just recently started that seemed to be in line with recent tower upgrades..

I'm in Gulf Shores, Al. Love the system but every week or two have the same problem, and always at night. I'm getting 350 to 400 down and 60 to 75 up so it is not the signal strength. The modem looses the internet connection from the 5g tower.. I have to restart the modem and then all is OK for a while. Wish they would fix it as if we are traveling I can't reset the modem and we can't check the security system.

Same issue in Southeast Michigan...went from 100Mbps to less than 2Mbps now. Tech Support can not give me a reason and I'm tired of doing the same basic troubleshooting that tech support seems to be limited too. Sadly time to move on from this service.

Oh how I feel your pain. In addition to your experience mine has been being on phone for the tech guy for over an hour at a time. Getting dropped 2-3 times. Tech promising to call and not following through. This is since March of this year. On an average 3-4 times a month. :(
If you want tech help I doubt you’ll find it from T-Mobile

It's weird that changing from spectrum to t-mobile home wifi service all devices download slow. And today not even cellphone service was available. Gateway was connecting but internet was not available. And even my guests cell phone was not receiving service and they don't even have t-mobile or were connected to my wifi. What could be causing this?
I keep telling everyone to check their network settings. I had all those same problems and then some. Couldn't connect my printer to internet. Hp went in and use something called Network Wizard and 99% of my troubles stopped. Has been working great lately. I knew was network cause printer prints out all kinds of neat info about your network settings

Our T-Mobile internet seems to be stable so far 2 weeks. However it's doesn't seem to be compatible with the work vpn. Drops the vpn regularly. I've heard lots of comments on this same issue and no real answer that will work for a vpn that's managed by an employer.
Frustrating as I specifically asked tge sales person about using it with a vpn they said oh no problem. So might have to return it and wait to see if Verizon comes out with theirs in our area and see if it's compatible.
