Home Wifi NAT Type issues
Hey everyone,
Been struggling with the NAT type issues on my home T-mobile WiFi 5G and my PS4. I just got this and can't sync up with my friends, let alone play online anymore. Does anyone have a fix for this?! I'm becoming quite desperate and exhausted with this issue and t-mobile tech support doesn't have an answer.

Having the same issue that just started happening today. Really only affects party chat and keeps disconnecting me from the party. Game (Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2) seemed to run fine but communication was rough. Didn't try running just came chat yet. I'll update here as I know many are dealing with this. Haven't tried manual port selection yet or plugging in a separate router yet either. Anyone have any updates with this? Any settings that can be changed in the admin portal?

VPN seems to be the only solution.

Same problem. Weird thing is I've played for months using their internet on my Xbox x without issue, then last week, bam, strict and can't play online anymore. I've been using their internet for 6 months with some minor connection issues, but now can't connect at all.
Same for me. Been on playing pubg for 5 months now all the sudden I get kicked from all games. I can stream just no game connection. I'm about to change service
What service did you go to? I going to change too.

Port forwarding is NOT available in the Nokia gateway. So changing the port from the Xbox console does NOT fix the problem. Does anyone know if port forwarding is available one the Arcadyn brand gateway? I may have to switch providers soon as well. What's the point of paying for internet of I can't even play my favorite games online? Waste of money.

It seems like most of the people posted here a year ago. I found this thread because I was looking into this problem myself. I got t mobile home Internet recently and it seems like this problem is still not fixed one year later. On Xbox, no matter how many ports I try. It stays on moderate since the first day. On apex even with great connection and 200mbs download, it stays on moderate and 70ping average. I also see nobody from T Mobile has actually ever responded to this thread. We are still in our testing phase but seeing how many people adress this problem I'm bummed we have to again search for a different provider. So much for "Americas biggest most reliable network"

I've had t mobile for a few years and suddenly I'm not able to connect to online gaming. What can I do to change my NAT type? My printer and cannon camera are coming up with the same error now too …
