That absolutely should be working as you're expecting it to. This forum is not regularly monitored by T-Mobile Support, but if you can place a call with them (1-844-275-9310) and have them file an escalation ticket, this will be looked into. Please have included in the ticket:
- What smartphone OS you’re using the app on (iOS or Android), and the version
- Which gateway model you have (the support rep can help you with this if you’re unsure)
- The gateway firmware version (can be found in the ‘More’ tab of the app, and the support rep can also help you find this)
- The type of devices you’re observing this with (you mentioned a laptop and other devices - specifics will help)
