New 5G home internet will not open webpages when NordVPN is connected

Web pages will not open when NordVPN is connected.  I hate to keep AT&T but will have to cancel T-mobile if I can't get it to work with my VPN.  Any advice?

Thank you.  NordVPN had also told me to disable IPv6.  That alone did not work, although it may have been a necessary condition for what did work, namely:

All I had to do was to change NordVPN connection from Automatic to OpenVPN (TCP)  Static configuration does not apply.

Just that easy . . . after days of banging my head against the wall.

Thanks for this discussion friends, it really helped me. All you need to do is specify OpenVPN (TCP) in the connection. It works with IPv6 as well.

Thank you.  That corresponds to what the TM tech rep told me.  I guess I'll have to find another VPN.

VPN's are very hit amd miss with TMHI.  If the VPN can't handle the origin IP changing.  It won't work with T-Monile Home Internet.

I am having the same problem.  My iPhone is working on my new TM5G network, connected to NordVPN, with no problems.  Neither of my laptops (Windows 10 and 11) will work, however.  NordVPN has not been helpful.  First, they gave me instructions to hardwire the DNS server addresses for WiFi and TAP-NordVPN, which did not help.  Then a friend of mine told me that his family had trouble with their VPN when they installed TM5G.  He thought the issue was packet size.  In response to that suggestion, NordVPN sent me some unbelievably complicated command-line instructions that I have no intention of trying.  Now I have just talked to TM Internet support.  He says that some VPN's don't work because they need a static IP address, whereas TM's is dynamic.  He doesn't know of work-around for that.

Like you, I want to go with TM.  Comcast is charging me a fortune for Internet access.

    I welcome any other ideas!
