Sending Email

Outlook is your client, not your mail service. If all you need is a different SMTP server for outgoing mail, Google "Free SMTP" and you'll find dozens of options.
I also have my own domain, which includes email, which I purchase through my domain provider, Hostcentric. They offer an SMTP server I can use as part of my domain services. Who is the provider of your domain, and don't they have their own SMTP server for you to use?
I am not using cloud based like Gmail. I use Outlook, my incoming is pop.mydomain.com and SMTP outgoing is with Cox Internet as they require it to be. So my outgoing is smtp.cox.net, I have put in my Cox account user name and password in additional settings and it works. If and when I drop Cox, I lose that outgoing option. I called T Mobile and the tech told me they do not support me sending emails through the home internet service they provide.
