Sending Email
- Hace 2 años
Outlook is your client, not your mail service. If all you need is a different SMTP server for outgoing mail, Google "Free SMTP" and you'll find dozens of options.
I also have my own domain, which includes email, which I purchase through my domain provider, Hostcentric. They offer an SMTP server I can use as part of my domain services. Who is the provider of your domain, and don't they have their own SMTP server for you to use?
Just another way of their saying they don't maintain an SMTP server. Think about it for a minute: if T-Mobile didn't support SMTP (the protocol) then no one would be able to send email if they subscribed to T-Mobile Home Internet. Such is obviously not the case.
If you are getting your domain name from a hosting company, like Hostcentric or GoDaddy, they have SMTP servers for their own domains. How did you get your domain name? If it's from one an Internet hosting company, I'd check with them for an SMTP server you could use.
In any case, this really isn't a problem with T-Mobile. You should be able to easily find an SMTP server that will serve your needs.
Good luck, “IPC”!
